形态描述
体长，圆筒形，头胸部腹面平，尾部侧扁，吻宽扁。口小，弧形。口前具吻沟，吻褶分3叶，叶间具吻须2对；口角须1对。唇薄，无明显乳突。鳃孔小，不达胸鳍基部。偶鳍平展；胸鳍起点在眼后下方，末端远不及腹鳍。腹鳍分离；尾鳍凹形。体侧被横斑。
生物学
Body elongate and cylindric, the ventral surface flattened, barbels 6, gill-opening very small, not extending to the base of the pectoral fins. This gastromyzonine fish is only found in the West River. A small fish, it inhabits the gravel bottom of the mountain streams.
